An Interview with Priscilla Murolo

Recently we had a chance to sit down with Priscilla Murolo, a labor historian and director of the Women’s History program at Sarah Lawrence College. Among other things, Priscilla spoke with us about the changes she’s seen in the program over the years, her process as a teacher and researcher, and the value of studying women’s history. She was also kind enough to share with us a few of the many mementos she’s collected in her office during her time at Sarah Lawrence.  Watch the full interview below!

Many thanks to Priscilla Murolo for taking the time to talk to us!  You can find out more about Priscilla and her work at her website here.

On another note, this year’s Women’s History Conference is just over a month away!  This year’s conference is, “On the Move: Working Women in the Struggle for Social Justice.”  Premilla Nadasen of Barnard College will deliver the keynote address on Friday, March 4, 2016.  The panels will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2016.  If you would like to attend this year’s conference, you can register online here.  We hope to see you there!
